| Description |
In August 2006, the Federal Reserve Bank IT Department was looking for a firm to partner with Sprint to provide the structured cabling and other technology infrastructure elements in their member banks and regional processing centers nation-wide. They chose Cable Tech Inc. for this massive effort because of their experience with Cable Tech’s National Dispatch Center in meeting short time frame Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and providing superior geographic and technical services coverage.
The Statement of Work (SOW) called for an ability to provide DS3 and T1 extensions and certification testing on demand in all locations with a typical time to finish SLA of less than 72 hours from work order to final testing certification. This even though there exists little pre-information details concerning the individual site needs, impediments or scope of work, requiring Cable Tech’s crews to be adaptable enough to meet all the needs of the customer without the benefit of a site survey or formal design layout. As well, Cable Tech is responsible for all scheduling, coordination, permits, local ordinance compliance and successful installation.
At the 5-month point in January 2007 Cable Tech had already completed 459 of the estimated 1600 sites with customer satisfaction surveys showing an average 8.8 score out of 10 possible performance points. This work effort out performed the schedule by 21 days and ranked the satisfaction levels of the customer in the top tier of historical project survey results for Cable Tech. |
| The bottom line: |
| Another Geographically dispersed project requiring high competence technically as well as high levels of flexibility where Cable Tech’s ISO processes, technical expertise and superior Quality of Service metrics combined to complete the project on-time, in-budget and with high quality of work survey results from the Project Team. |
