Network Equipment
Cable Tech’s network equipment offerings include routers, hubs, and switches used to manage network traffic. Our turn-key approach offers customers integrated Ethernet solutions that consist of market leading LAN and WAN products.
Hubs
Hubs are Ethernet devices used to broadcast data over a number of network drops. In most applications, Hubs are inserted into the network to enable a star-wiring configuration
Ethernet Switches
10/100/1000 Ethernet switches (called switching hubs or concentrators) are LAN elements that link computers to a network with a specific data throughput regardless of the number of users on the network. Ethernet switches limit data packet collisions and efficiently support network expansion.
Routing Switches
Routing switches, or routers, are network devices that move network traffic to destinations based on the address portion of a data packet. Routers are used to optimize the performance of a network infrastructure and are key to the deployment of next generation convergent networks.
Multi-Service Switches
Multi-service switches are used to consolidate voice/video/data circuits through voice compression and dynamic bandwidth allocation.
